Introduction of Oracle Database System
An Oracle database is a collection of interrelated data. The purpose of a database is to store and retrieve related information. A Database server is the key to solving the problems of information management.

The oracle database server is manages the large amount of data in a multiple user environment so that many users can concurrently access the same data. A database server also prevents the unauthorized access and provides efficient solutions for failure recovery.

Oracle database is first database which is designed for enterprise grid computing(the most flexible and cost efficient way to manage information and applications). Enterprise grid computing create large pools of industry project, modules and servers.

Each database has logical structure and physical structure. the both structure are separated from each other. the physical storage of data can be managed without affecting the access of logical structures.
